Oreo Red Velvet Cupcakes Delicious Recipe

Red Velvet Cake:
1 box red velvet cake mix
3 eggs
1/2 C. oil
1 C. sour cream
1/2 C. buttermilk or milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
24 Oreos

Oreo Buttercream:
10 Oreos, twist and scrape off (or eat) the cream filling
1/2 C. butter, softened
8 oz. cream cheese
2 tsp. vanilla extract
3-4 C. powdered sugar
Extra Oreos for decoration

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line pans with cupcake lines. Sift cake mix into a small bowl and set aside. In a large bowl, combine eggs, oil, sour cream, buttermilk and vanilla extract until smooth. Stir in cake mix. Take your Oreos and place one at the bottom of each cupcake liner. Scoop batter over each Oreo to fill the liners about 3/4 full. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until an inserted knife comes out clean and let it cool.

Oreo Frosting: Take your Oreo cookies (just the chocolate pieces and not the filling) and crush in a plastic bag using a rolling pin. If you have a food processor that works the best! Sift your finely crushed Oreos to remove any lumps, because if you use a piping bag any big cookie pieces will clog it. In a stand mixer, beat butter and cream cheese. Add vanilla extract and slowly add powdered sugar until you reach your desired consistency. Fold in crushed Oreos. Don’t stir too much or the frosting will turn a gross (yet delicious) grey color.
Pipe onto cooled cupcakes and top with extra Oreos.

DIY How to Transfer an Image to a Rock

The process to transfer an image to a rock is not that hard as it sounds, just follow these simple steps:

First of all you have to clean the rock.
Use some watered down white paint to ass a smooth layer and color and let it dry.
You need a “Splendid Blender” pen from Chartpak. Don’t try any other blender pens they don’t have the identical chemical composition, and will not work.
Make a copy of the image with a laser printer, Ink jet copies can not be used.
Place the paper with face down on the rock you plan to use.
Rub the pen over the image, while you keep the paper with the image in place. Be very careful if the papers moves you will end up with a blurry image. Apply pressure until the image is transferred.

DIY Romantic Asian Lamp Shade

DIY Asian Shade Lamp

This is an incredibly simple DIY with a stunning result. All you need for this shade lamp DIY is a Chinese Round Paper Lantern, white, around 8 inch, a piece of paper, and some glue.

Start with cutting of the bottom of the Chinese round paper lantern. Cut the paper into some stripes, into triangles, with a very long edge as shown in the picture above.

Glue in some of the paper stripes in the inside of the Chinese lamp, then start to build up the outer side of the lamp starting from the bottom and adding one more layer every 0.8 – 1 inch.

When you are done, mount it in place on the ceiling, turn the lights on and enjoy.
